# Editing a Device Component

To edit the existing device component in Bytebeam console,

<Steps>
  <Step title="Access Settings Tab">
    Navigate to the **Settings Tab** by clicking on your username at the top right
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go to Device Components Tab and Initiate Device Component Edit">
    Navigate to the **Device Components** tab and click on the **Edit** icon against the target device component
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fill Details">
    Enter the changed device component name and click on **Submit** button to edit it.
