# Add field(s) to Stream

To add a field(s) to the existing stream in Bytebeam console,

<Steps>
  <Step title="Access Settings Tab">
    Navigate to the **Settings** Tab by clicking on your username at the top right
  </Step>

  <Step title="Locate the Target Stream">
    Go to **Streams** tab and scroll to the **Stream** where new fields need to be added.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter Field Details">
    Enter the field name in the **Field Name** input of the selected Stream and select the field type from the **Select Type** dropdown
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the Field">
    Click on the plus **(+)** button to add the field right after the existing fields.
  </Step>
