# Deleting a Stream

To delete a stream in Bytebeam console,

<Steps>
  <Step title="Access Settings Tab">
    Navigate to the **Settings** tab by clicking on your username at the top right
  </Step>

  <Step title="Locate the Target Stream">
    Go to **Streams** tab and scroll to the **Stream** which needs to be deleted
  </Step>

  <Step title="Initiate the stream deletion">
    Click on the **Trash** 🗑 icon against the stream you would like to delete
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the selection">
    Type stream name in the field, and Click on **Confirm** to delete the stream.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>This action is not reversible. Deleting a Stream will result in data loss. Please be sure of the Stream selected for deletion.</Warning>
